Hunter Taxation Services was established by Shanna Hunter in January 2009 and has continued to grow and evolve each year. With over 25 years of experience in Public Practice Accounting, Shanna is passionate about helping individuals and small to medium businesses navigate the often complex world of finance and taxation.

Shanna’s journey began straight out of high school as a trainee accountant while completing her Bachelor of Commerce (Accounting). She has since expanded her expertise with an Advanced Diploma of Financial Services (Financial Planning), completion of the CPA Program, the CPA Public Practice Program, and most recently, the AICD Company Directors Course.

As a Fellow of CPA Australia and a Registered Tax Agent, Shanna remains highly engaged in the accounting profession. She contributes at local, state, and national levels through various CPA committees and also facilitates CPA Public Practice Program Workshops and serves as a CPA Best Practice Assessor.

Shanna is also a Member of the Australian Institute of Company Directors (AICD) and the Governance Institute of Australia (GIA), reflecting her commitment to strong corporate governance and ongoing professional development.
